No love lost between Katrina and Sonakshi

Mumbai: Up until now, it was widely believed that Katrina Kaif and Sonakshi Sinha were not the best of buddies in town and shared cold vibes at social dos. But when the two beauties met at an event recently it seemed as if there was no love lost between them.

Reportedly, Sonakshi had earlier taken a digs at Kat, but later, did a volte-face by sending messages to her to clear the air. Katrina didn’t react at that time. But, it was clear that she was miffed.
Kat and Sona were spotted at the inauguration of Sohail Khan`s wife Seema Khan`s spa in Bandra and the two actresses laughed and giggled bonding big time. Interestingly, Salman too was present at the event.

An eye witness said, "Sonakshi and Katrina went around the entire spa, sharing their views about it with each other. They were having so much fun. In fact, a lot of eyebrows were raised looking at just how friendly they were toward each other."

An Item Songs perform Sunny leone in ‘Zanjeer’

Mumbai: Sunny Leone is certainly living the best phase of her career.
After ‘Bigg Boss 5’, Sunny garnered publicity and plump film projects. She is yet to complete shooting for ‘Jism 2’ and already has Ekta Kapoor’s sequel to ‘Ragini MMS’. And if the latest buzz that is doing the rounds is to be believed, the adult film actress is being considered for an item number by the makers of new ‘Zanjeer’.

The remake of the 1970’s blockbuster stars Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan and Priyanka Chopra. Mahie Gill will play the iconic Mona Darling in the film and has an item number in her kitty. And if all goes well, audiences will get to see Sunny sizzle in the second item number in the film.

Aamir to attend rickshaw driver`s son`s wedding in Varanasi

Mumbai: Aamir Khan, who befriended rickshaw puller Ram Lakhan in Varanasi during his country wide promotion of '3 Idiots', has been invited to his son`s wedding.

The 47-year-old actor met Lakhan two and half years ago while travelling in disguise in North of India without any bodyguards to promote his film.

Lakhan has now invited Aamir to attend his son`s wedding in the holy city tomorrow.

Payal Rohatgi wants money before honey!

Mumbai: Model-actress Payal Rohatgi has dropped a hint about her plans to get married to wrestler-boyfriend Sangram Singh. But she says she wants him to earn a lot of money before they tie the knot.

"I want him (Sangram) to earn a lot of money because I don`t know whether I`ll work after marriage or not," the 32-year-old, who met her beau on reality show "Survivor India," said here.

"I want to get whatever I put my hand on, so I am pushing Sangram for a lot of things and he has also become a bit scared of my demands," she added.



But Payal is ready to wait as their careers are on top of their priority list for now.

"Right now we are concentrating on our careers and we are committed to each other. Of course, when you are in a relationship, marriage happens. But right now we are figuring out our careers because after `Survivor` we both are in a very good phase, career wise. So, it`s career right now," she said.

Sunny Leone to star in Ragini MMS 2

Sunny Leone, who is all set to make her B-Town debut in Jism 2, has landed another big project. The Indian-origin porn star will be seen in Ekta Kapoor's Ragini MMS sequel.

"Sunny has become the most sexy actress in India today. Ekta and her production team feel she fits the role
completely. The original film revolved around the video footage of a girl named Ragini and was loosely inspired from the real story of a girl from Delhi. The sequel too is inspired by a real-life story. The scale of the sequel is much bigger than the first one and will be much scarier and it will be full of sex and sensuality," a source told a daily.

Confirming the news, Ekta tells the daily that the adult filmstar is perfect for the role: "Yes we have signed Sunny for the sequel. We wanted to take it to a higher level. It's a scary date movie meant for youngsters. Sunny represents sensuality at its peak, so for us she's the perfect choice."

No TV premiere for The Dirty Picture

After weeks of promotions on Sony Entertainment Television, the telecast of The Dirty Picture (TDP), which was scheduled for Sunday from 12-4pm and a repeat from 8-11pm, was cancelled abruptly in an overnight decision. This came after the Ministry for Information & Broadcasting notified the


channel just a day before the telecast. Ironically, the film, which won three National Awards in the categories of Best Actress, Best Costume and Best Make-up, will be felicitated at a gala award ceremony in New Delhi on May 3.


Shocked with the sudden turn of events, director Milan Luthria retorts, “I don’t what’s happening in this country! How can they do that? To make the film fit for TV viewing, we re-edited it with 59 cuts and even obtained a U/A certificate from the censor board.”



Industry sources claim that the reason for the eleventh-hour decision was the fact that the I&B ministry received numerous complaints against airing of TDP during the daytime. Interestingly, on Friday, the Nagpur bench of Bombay High Court, acting on a public interest litigation (PIL) filed by two petitioners, had decided against staying the telecast of the film as it had already undergone requisite editing for its TV premiere.

`Teri Meri Kahaani` will be a memorable film: Priyanka Chopra and Shahid kapoor

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra says that her upcoming film `Teri Meri Kahaani`, a story of eternal love, will be a memorable movie.

"The movie will be a memorable one. The story takes us through a journey of eternal love between a couple who have vowed to love each other not only in this life but in every life to follow. Their love is so strong that even destiny wants to bring them together," Priyanka said.



The film stars Shahid Kapoor in the lead opposite Priyanka and has been directed by Kunal Kohli.

"The story starts in 1960 Bombay with Govind and Ruksar, then moves ahead to present times, 2012 England with Radha and Krish and then goes back in time to Punjab, 1910 with Aradhana and Javed," said Priyanka, who was here to promote the film.

"It is three different love stories but I enjoyed the 2012 episode the most," she added.


According to director Kunal, the film "is all about love... Thrice upon a love story... Soul mates.... The journey of love is something that has always fascinated me and all of us."

"The banter between the couple, the chemistry, the first look, the pain and anguish of separation, the fun of the meetings, the dreaminess of love songs, the thrill the hero gets while flirting with that one person who suddenly is the most important person. The joy, fun, tears and entertainment of our Hindi Cinema is at its peak in our love stories.



"This is exactly the journey that I went through while writing Teri Meri Kahaani and this is exactly the journey I want to take you through," said Kunal.

`Teri Meri Kahani` will be in cinemas on June 22, 2012. The film is produced by Sunil Lulla, Vicky Bahri and Kunal Kohli.
